"My interest in art started at an early age and since I retired in 2011, I have dedicated much of my time to painting. I paint landscapes, flowers, portraits and still life. Since I get a lot of inspiration from nature, I paint often on site. It makes it challenging and exciting. When I’m not outdoors, I paint from photos I have taken. I paint mostly with water mixable oils and acrylics. When it’s too cold outdoors for my paint, I will paint with pastels."
